We’re less than a month away from the hotly anticipated premiere of Marvel’s Runaways and to whet our appetite for the comic book series, Hulu has released an exciting new trailer with lots of new footage and more scenes featuring the show’s genetically engineered dinosaur, Old Lace. Yep, they're actually giving Old Lace a faithful, live action spin and it looks great.

Marvel’s Runaways follows six teenagers — Alex (Rhenzy Feliz), Nico (Lyrica Okano), Karolina (Virgina Gardner), Gert (Ariela Barer), Chase (Gregg Sulkin) and Molly (Allegra Acosta) — who discover their parents (including Buffy’s James Marsters) are in reality supervillains forming a group known as The Pride that pretty much control the West Coast.

The official synopsis reads:

Every teenager thinks their parents are evil, what if they actually are? After discovering their parents are super-villains in disguise, a group of teenagers band together to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents' actions and to discover the secrets of their origins.

The brainchild of showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (Chuck, Gossip Girl), the 10-episode series is based on the Marvel comic of the same name from Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona.

Like Freeform’s upcoming New Warriors and Cloak and Dagger Marvel series (both shows will air sometime in 2018), Runaways skews toward a slightly younger audience by featuring teenaged superheroes as opposed to the adult superhero TV shows on Netflix and ABC — and it looks pretty good so far. The pilot was extremely well received by critics following a screening at New York Comic Con.

Marvel’s Runaways will kick off Season 1 on Nov. 21 on Hulu.
