It sounds like The CW's Legends of Tomorrow has added yet another DC-verse alum, and this one is a familiar face for those who have been watching Arrow.

Spoilers ahead for Season 3 of Arrow!

Even though his character apparently died at the end of Season 3 on Arrow, it has been revealed that Matt Nable will return as Ra’s al Ghul on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. broke the story earlier, and it would appear that the news was confirmed by the WB/CW. It’s as yet unclear how the character will be back from the dead: whether he's survived his apparent death, or if his appearance will be the result of some timey-wimey time travel (courtesy of Arthur Darvill's Rip Hunter). However the powers-that-be will go about it, Nable will make his return on the ninth episode.

Seems like there will be quite a few characters from the world of Arrow and The Flash (other than our main team members) appearing on Legends of Tomorrow. One such character will be Damien Darhk, who has some history with Ra’s — and not the good kind (for him, not for us). Actor Neal McDonough has previously confirmed he would pop up on the CW’s upcoming superhero series. Whether both Damien Darhk and Ra’s al Ghul will appear in the same episode is still unclear, but it sure would make for a fantastic episode.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Victor Garber, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Ciara Renee, Falk Hentschel, Arthur Darvill and Franz Drameh. It is set to debut on Jan. 21 on the CW.

What do you think of Matt Nable returning as Ra's al Ghul on Legends of Tomorrow? How do you think it'll be done?
