We're going to call it Indiana Jones Week around here. Everyone else seems to be making up holidays, so why not us?

Over the years, Indiana Jones movies generally premiere during this week. Some of them were better than others. On this day in 2008, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull had its premiere.

It started like this ...

It had some fun stuff that was sort of classic Indiana Jones ...

And then there was stuff like this ...

It was a big deal when it premiered. We all went to see it. And then we came out of the theater and ... look, Crystal Skull wasn't the best of the series. In fact, that's kind of what everyone said. Even Spielberg, sorta.

In lighter news, today also happens to be World Goth Day. And THIS ONE we actually could find some information on. According to WorldGothDay.com (yep), the event started on this day in 2009 when BBC6 Radio decided to go nuts about it. Since then, it's been quietly celebrated in the dark.

Anything that starts with Bauhaus or Siouxsie Sioux, we're completely on board with. So Happy Goth Day, everyone.
