Actor Ewan McGregor slogged his way through the entire Star Wars prequel trilogy as a younger version of Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi. But is he game to bring the old Jedi back for Star Wars VII?

Turns out, yes, he enjoyed his time in George Lucas' most famous playground and would be happy to come back at some point.

He shared his feelings on the project with Digital Spy:

"I guess, yeah, of course. If they need me, yeah, I'd be happy [to go back]."
McGregor was one of the high points at times in the prequel series, but you'd have to wonder how he would fit in chronologically in Episode VII, considering that Obi-Wan eventually died in Episode IV.

He could always come back as one of those nifty Jedi ghosts, sure, but it'd be hard for him to have much more than a cameo or two in the new series of films.

What do you think? Should Obi-Wan make a triumphant return?
