EA's Star Wars Battlefront II is easily one of the most eagerly-awaited games of the fall release season and its eye-popping imagery and immersion into the Star Wars universe in both single player campaigns and epic galactic-scale conflicts are nothing less than a revelation.
A new behind the scenes video dropped over the weekend at the D23 Expo in Anaheim revealing the intricacies of this ambitious Star Wars gaming project, with Active Studios' Mark Thompson, and Lucasfilm's Steve Blank and Orion Kellogg explaining how this Imperial perspective story came about.
Revolving around the events following the destruction of the Death Star II in Return of the Jedi and moving through the tumultuous times of the First Order's evolution, Battlefront II's solo player story stars Iden Versio, brave leader of Empire's black ops unit, Inferno Squad. We're also introduced to the other Imperial commandos Hask and Del, and her career military father, Admiral Versio, as they try to help form Iden's opinions and alliances in the aftermath of the Emperor's death.
Dive into this new BTS peek and tell us if you're amped for Star Wars Battlefront II when it explodes worldwide on November 17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
