Maybe you've had enough of Thanos after he did [SPOILER ALERT] in Avengers: Infinity War, but that doesn't mean you've had enough of Josh Brolin, or seen the last of him this spring. When Deadpool 2 debuts on May 18, we'll be seeing him as Cable, hot on the heels of his turn as the "balance of the universe" 50/50 odds-obsessed Thanos, and the trailers make it look like he'll be giving Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool plenty of robo-armed badassery to play off of. Whether you know him from the 2004 comic Cable & Deadpool or as Cyclops' son sent to the future, or will be meeting him for the first time in a week, Cable's sure to bring some Terminator-esque glowing robot side eye to the Deadpool franchise.
But what if you haven't had enough of Thanos? What if you want to be able to enjoy your Thanos and Cable together? Like a chocolate-and-peanut-butter-together Josh Brolin treat?
Well, say no more, because artist Steven Richter has got you covered. (And if you know anyone at ILM, have them call Mr. Richter ASAP. His work looks amazing.)
Without further ado, we now present you with: Steven Richter's Fan Art Josh Brolin Mega-Sculpture. The Reese's Peanut Butter Cup of Brolin Statues: a Thanos and Cable Combined Head Bust. Watch him make it below:
Honestly, even though Richter's site includes a straightforward bust of Thanos (along with incredibly realistic mock-ups of the Infinity Gauntlet, Chewbacca, the Hulk, and more), it was a little hard to watch that perfect Thanos sculpture get cut up to accomodate the Cable elements (neck cables, light-up eye, etc). But maybe that's just because Thanos didn't kill me.
