A little over a week after SYFY revealed the premiere date for its upcoming DC Comics series Krypton; the network has unveiled a batch of new pics taking a closer look at the show's House of El members as well as other characters that will populate the Superman prequel series.
Slated to debut on March 21, the show takes place a full two generations before the destruction of the Man of Steel’s homeworld and follows his grandfather Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe). This one is fighting to regain his family’s honor after the House of El has been ostracized by not only putting order back to his house, but to Krypton as well after a warning by Earth time-traveler Adam Strange (Dark Matter's Shaun Sipos).
Spearheaded by David S. Goyer, Krypton stars Cuffe, Sipos, Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones) as Val-El (another ancestor of Superman’s), Georgina Campbell (Broadchurch) as Lyta Zod, Elliot Cowan (Da Vinci’s Demons) as Daron-Vex, Ann Ogbomo (World War Z) as Alura Zod, Rasmus Hardiker (Your Highness) as Kem, Wallis Day (Will) as Nyssa-Vex, Aaron Pierre (The A Word) as Dev-Em, Gordon Alexander (Kingsman: The Golden Circle) as Quex Ul, Andrea Vasiliou (Wonder Woman) as Kol-Da, Paula Malcomson (The Hunger Games) as Seg-El’s mom Charys-El and Blake Ritson (Da Vinci’s Demons) as Brainiac.
Found in the images below are Seg-El (who is featured in several pics) and his mom Charys-El (that would make her Kal-El’s great-grandma), several more shots of Val-El with a younger Seg-El, Kem, Dev-Em, Quex Ul and Kol-Da.
