We know Ant-Man was M.I.A. during the events of Avengers: Infinity War, and while we might soon have more info on exactly what he's been up to, it might be the decisions he made way back in Captain America: Civil War that cause him some trouble in Marvel's upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) haven't had the smoothest relationship in the past, and now it seems like it won't be getting better in Ant-Man and the Wasp. According to Douglas, it's because of some of Scott's actions in Captain America: Civil War.
In a set interview from last fall, Douglas was asked how Hank Pym feels about Scott's use of Ant-Man tech to fight the Avengers when we last saw him in Civil War. Apparently, Pym isn't happy.
"Yeah, he’s pretty pissed off about that," said Douglas. "He really is. I would say that largely sets the initial tone between Scott and Hank on this one. He didn’t share much information with Dr. Pym."
As you probably remember, in Civil War Scott joined Captain America's side in the fight against the Sokovia Accords. While the events of Infinity War seem to be leaning toward Cap and Tony making amends to... you know, save the world, Scott's decision is causing him tension in the meantime.
Hopefully, Hank and Scott can also find a way to get over their issues to help the greater good.
