When it comes to a strong cosplay game, Atlanta's fandom is tough to beat. While the awesome array of costume creativity at Dragon Con will wrap up the summer in September, MomoCon -- dedicated to anime, comics, gaming and animation fandom -- kicked off the sunny season last weekend with more than 31,000 attendees ... and a heckuva lot of cosplay on display.

This year, some of our favorite cosplay included a 7-foot-tall Gundam, Atom Cats from Fallout, more than a few Wonder Women, cross play of Kid Flash and a bearded D.Va in a Meka suit from Overwatch. There was also a sighting of Cosplay Melee contestant (and Atlanta resident) Xavier Conley of Ebony Warrior Studios as Tyrael: Archangel of Justice from Diablo.

Oh, and then there was the really cute kid with paper towel rolls on his arms!

If you weren't able to make it out to MomoCon, we've got you covered. We sent our good friends from Conography, our excellent cosplay photographers, to take pics for a superhero-sized gallery.
