The winter hiatus for The CW’s superhero line-up is coming to a close, and Supergirl, The Flash and Arrow are set to return for more superheroing during the week of Jan. 15. Now we have an idea of what to expect when the heroes get back on duty.

According to TV Line (via The CW) here are the official synopses for Supergirl, The Flash and Arrow:

SUPERGIRL: “Legion of Superheroes” (Monday, Jan. 15 at 8/7c)

Struggling to heal from her injuries inflicted by Reign, Supergirl remains in a dreamlike state, unable to be reached. Mon-El recruits one of the Legion members, Brainiac-5 (Defiance‘s Jesse Rath), to try to bring her back. Meanwhile, Reign continues her rampage on the city so the DEO teams up with the Legion of Superheroes to try to stop her.

While we knew Brainiac-5’s hotly anticipated debut on the show would be in the upcoming “Legion of Super-Heroes” episode, it’s interesting to see that Mon-El (Chris Wood) will be turning to the Coluan for help in order to help Kara (Melissa Benoist) heal and regain consciousness while Saturn Girl (Amy Jackson) is a perfectly good telepath. We’re guessing having a level 12 intellect is what's really needed for the job at hand.

THE FLASH: “The Trial of The Flash” (Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 8 pm)

As Barry’s trial for the murder of Clifford DeVoe begins, Iris and Joe must decide how far they are willing to go to keep Barry out of prison.

As we all know, The Flash started its midseason hiatus with Barry being arrested for the “murder” of Clifford DeVoe (Neil Sandilands). Not much can be gleaned from this short synopsis but the trailer for the midseason premiere saw Joe's (Jesse L. Martin) girlfriend Cecille (Danielle Nicolet), Central City’s district attorney, advise Barry to reveal his identity as the Flash to get him off. Does this mean Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe are in on this, too, or do they plan on doing more detective work. But more importantly, will actual P.I. Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) and Team Flash member join in on the detecting fun?

ARROW: “Divided” (Thursday, Jan. 18 at 9 pm)

Despite losing half his team, Oliver remains confident that he, Felicity and Diggle can stop Cayden James and Black Siren However, when he discovers one of Cayden’s secrets, he decides to team up with an unlikely ally. Meanwhile, Dinah spends time with Vince.

Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) team has been decimated since half of Team Arrow left during the dramatic fallout of the midseason finale, and when the show finally returns, it’s going to be interesting to find out the identity of the "unlikely ally" Oliver will team-up with to take down James (Michael Emerson) and Black Siren (Katie Cassidy).

Since Colton Haynes is not slated to return as Roy Harper until the 15th episode, could that ally be Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards ) dad, Noah Kuttler (Tom Amandes), aka the Calculator? After all, dude did make a surprise appearance during Olicity's wedding and if one could potentially help against the Helix hacker group, it's him.
