X-Files fans have been clamoring for more ever since The X-Files: I Want to Believe left theater screens, and this year, we finally found out we'd get it in the form of a new limited series from creator Chris Carter. We've already seen photos of stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson on set, and now we've finally got our first brief-but-tantalizing look at footage from the next incarnation of the franchise.

On Tuesday, FOX released a new trailer noting that July 7 marks 201 days until the show's return on January 24, 2016. That means that, starting today, you could watch one X-Files episode per day (not including the two films) and watch them all by the time the revival event series begins. That information makes up the meat of the trailer, but at the end, the network unveiled the first new footage from the revival, along with a couple of key quotes.

"I'm more certain than ever that the truth is in there," Mulder says.

"I've heard the truth, Mulder. Now what I want are the answers," Scully replies."

For longtime fans of the show, that's enough to send chills down your spine. Check out the footage below, and start marathoning The X-Files now.
