Making fun of bad movies has always been a thing, but there's no question that Mystery Science Theater 3000 elevated it to an art form. Starting out on local access television, Joel Hodgson's brainchild would become a pop culture phenomenon, influencing a generation of smart-aleck sci-fi moviegoers and birthing hundreds of classic comedy bits out of the absolute dregs of the genre. Then, it went away.

Now, however, it's back! Thanks to a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, Hodgson is bringing MST3K to TV once again, and he's brought a new team of fresh faces with him, including familiar names like Felicia Day and Patton Oswalt. So, what can fans expect when the show returns? We sat down with Joel Hodgson and new MST-ies Jonah Ray, Baron Vaughn and Hampton Yount to find out.
