If you’ve been jonesing to relive the glory days of blasting your buddies like it's 1997, we have just the thing to scratch that itch.

The N64 video game Goldeneye 007 was one of the greatest first-person shooters of its generation, but boy, it hasn’t really aged well. That’s where the tireless volunteers behind Goldeneye: Source come in. A team of volunteer programmers have painstakingly re-created the game in high definition running off Valve's Source engine, which powered titles like Counter Strike and Half-Life, for PC.

This version of the game features 10 different multiplayer modes, and upgraded versions of the original 28 weapons. Sadly, it only has a multiplayer mode (with no plans for a single-player mode), but it’s one heck of a nostalgic romp if you want to get some pals together and start blasting heads. The team has been working on this project for a decade, and recently dropped the most complete (and impressive) build yet.
