Good news, everyone -- and not just for people who recognize the Futurama reference. NBC Universal is launching a brand-new comedy streaming service called SEESO for all those lovers of laughs out there. And you know the best part? You’re all invited. So put down those Star Wars Blu-ray sets for a sec and check this out.

So what’s SEESO? As the helpful video explains, “In the sea of terrible, terrible content that is out there, Seeso is Noah’s Ark. What I mean by that is, if you’re not on it, you’re dead.”

The new service will offer a wide-ranging selection of comedy series, movies and shorts including my personal favorite: Parks and Recreation. But that’s not all, because you’ll also be able to view the entire Monty Python library (including movies and sketches), including fan favorites like Saturday Night Live (the SNL/Jimmy Fallon/Seth Myers episodes), The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night With Seth Meyers.

From the UK, the site has on offer The Office (UK version), The World of Alan Partridge, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Fawlty Towers, The Young Ones and more. Some original programming will also be available at launch.

The new streaming service will be available for a $3.99 a month subscription, but this month, Blastr readers get special access to the beta for free. All you have to do is to head on over to and enter the beta code: SEESOFRIENDS. Then you’re all set for some cool comedy to brighten your holidays.
