You might have thought that Sir David Attenborough, 92, was finished talking about nature in his soothing voice, but the truth is that he's just getting started. In the spring, you'll be able to hear him narrate stunning footage of the natural world in Netflix's docuseries Our Planet, from the creators of BBC's Planet Earth.

The first teaser for the show has been released and includes majestic footage of elephants, polar bears, frogs, monkeys, whales, fish, and other animals that make for good nature-based TV. And while it's just a teaser, Attenborough (brother of Jurassic Park's Richard) makes a short cameo at the end with his voice, informing you that you can only watch Our Planet on Netflix in April.

Watch the preview below:

The series will consist of eight parts and will most likely address the effect of things like climate change on the world's diverse animal habitats. Since Planet Earth originally aired in 2006, much has (presumably) changed in the way of environmental studies and the way we understand the repercussions of human and, more importantly, industrial activity on the planet.

Of course, you've also got Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II, which aired in 2016 and 2017, respectively, so it will be interesting to see how Our Planet distinguishes itself from what's come before. It's also really impressive that Attenborough is still narrating these nature documentaries well into his 90s.

Our Planet drops on Netflix April 5, 2019.
