When it comes to quality television, Netflix has become a great equalizer of sorts for obscure shows deserving of a bigger audience. That was the case with the E4 British show Crazyhead, but despite its newfound audience, don’t expect to see more from what critics have deemed a “British Buffy.”

With fans and critics holding out hope for a new season, star Susan Wokoma made it clear the series would not be returning. The award-winning comedy horror series was created by Misfits creator Howard Overman, and ran for a mere six episodes (which obviously isn’t uncommon for British television). The show was basically a spin on the old Buffy the Vampire set-up, with a young woman taking out demons and cracking jokes along the way.

The series is crazy fun, and it’s a shame we won’t see more of it. At least we’ll always have Netflix. You know, at least until the streaming deal changes. So yeah, you should probably just go watch it now.
