There's no doubt that the design of Thanos has changed since he first appeared at the end of the first Avengers movie. He went from deep purple, wrinkled skin, and glowing blue eyes to light purple, less-wrinkled skin, and a face that looks more like the actor who plays him, Josh Brolin; the actor began portraying the genocidal villain in Guardians of the Galaxy, which came after The Avengers.

While the casual observer might not have even noticed, hardcore Marvel fans have taken issue with the fact that the Mad Titan has been altered so many times over the years.

Don't believe us? Take a look at all of Thanos's transformations:

**SPOILER WARNING: The post contains major spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War.**

With Avengers: Infinity War now in theaters, Netflix is joining the ongoing discussion about the character. In a Twitter post that mocks a good majority of today's clickbait-y headlines, the streaming service posted a photo of Thanos from the first Avengers next to one of him from Infinity War, writing: "doctors hate him! local dad's transformation has half the world in shock."

How did he get rid of his wrinkles? What moisturizer does he use? The world needs to know! Well, half of it, anyway, because, ya know, Thanos wiped out half of all life in the universe after uniting all six Infinity Stones

This isn't the first time Thanos has been mocked on the Internet. When the first trailer for the film dropped online last November, people on Twitter began comparing the final design of the antagonist to Homer Simpson and Rick from Pawn Stars
