Warner Bros. has released the second trailer and poster for Annabelle: Creation, New Line Cinema’s newest entry in The Conjuring universe, from director/executive producer James Wan.

According to the studio, the story is set several years after the tragic death of a little girl, as a doll maker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from an orphanage into their home. But, this being a horror movie, they soon become the target of the doll maker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

Annabelle: Creation boasts a great cast that includes Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace), Miranda Otto (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy), Stephanie Sigman (Spectre), Talitha Bateman (The 5th Wave), Lulu Wilson (Ouija 2, Deliver Us from Evil), Philippa Coulthard (After the Dark), Grace Fulton (Badland), Lou Lou Safran (The Choice), Samara Lee (The Last Witch Hunter) and newcomer Tayler Buck in her first movie role.

Directing Annabelle: Creation is David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) from a screenplay written by Gary Dauberman (Annabelle, The Nun). The horror movie is a prequel to Annabelle, which was also a prequel to The Conjuring.
