“How can you tell if something really happened?”

Ryan Gosling’s Officer K is filled with a litany of burning questions in new TV spots for Blade Runner 2049, as he interrogates Harrison Ford’s grisly Rick Deckard.

K has tracked down the former replicant hunter, who’s gone MIA for three decades, after unlocking a secret whose ramifications could prove catastrophic. A characteristically gruff Deckard, however, is none too happy to see K.

“Too many questions,” he barks back.

The clips also provide snippets of new footage as Deckard explains why he’s gone rogue and underground, warning K of the dangers that lie ahead.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Blade Runner 2049 picks up after the events of the seminal 1982 sci-fi landmark, and also stars Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Sylvia Hoeks, Dave Bautista, Ana de Armas and Mackenzie Davis.

Expect those questions to be answered when Blade Runner 2049 dashes into theaters on Oct. 6.
