Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and Emily VanCamp have been recently spotted filming a funeral scene for Captain America: Civil War, currently filming in Atlanta. Plus, we may have a first look at a fight scene featuring the prince of Wakanda.
From the set pics posted below, you’ll see extras dressed in mourning garbs, as well as Evans himself sporting a black suit for the somber occasion. There are speculations that the funeral could be that of Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), attended by Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson and Peggy’s niece, Sharon Carter.
There’s also a very interesting video that shows two stuntmen practicing a scene. Given the fighting style the character is using, Internet speculation is that the stuntman may be doubling for Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa, aka Black Panther, who is rumored to get into a showdown with Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye (not the scene shown in the video).
But, first things first, let’s start with some pics of Evans, Mackie and VanCamp during the filming of the funeral sequence, then have a look at the video and Umberto Gonzalez’s Instagram rumor/spoiler and let us know what you think. Avengers 2.5 Captain America: Civil War will open in theaters on May 6, 2016.
