Rey, who debuted in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as the mysterious scavenger and would-be Jedi, will return to big screens this winter in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. But the character will hit small screens first, making it to EA's video game world in Star Wars: Battlefront II. The character will be one of the new heroes in the game, using her lightsaber and the Force to make short work of her enemies.

New details about the character, along with the new image above, were released by EA this week, including the reveal of her special abilities. As with the other hero and villain special characters, Rey has three abilities, all of which fit in nicely with what we saw of the character in The Force Awakens.

First, she has "Dash Strike," described as "Rey charges forward with her lightsaber held high, dealing damage to enemies who dare stand in the way." If that sounds a little reckless, charging lightsaber first, well, she's not exactly a trained Jedi, is she? That's the point, and the charge looks just like the start of her fight with Kylo Ren.

Next is "Mind Trick," and EA says, "Rey causes nearby enemies to be dazed and confused for a brief period of time." This sounds like it's gonna be a heck of an annoyance for people playing against Rey, and again, despite a lack of training, she was able to pull this off with her natural ability, so it works great as a power for her in the game.

Finally there's "Insight," a power based on the way Rey assesses situations; she may not have known in Force Awakens that she was really letting herself drop into the Force. In the game, "Rey takes a moment to deeply sense her surroundings, revealing and highlighting all nearby enemies."

That's Rey! Hopefully we'll get details on Kylo Ren soon. Star Wars Battlefront II hits PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 14, 2017.
