"I'm not where I wanted to be, but I can work with this."

Oh, brilliant! The new trailer for the 12th season of Doctor Who is at long last upon us, and it truly is about time. (Seriously, we've been waiting.)

In the upcoming season of Doctor Who, Jodie Whittaker is back as the 13th Doctor, as are co-stars Bradley Walsh (who plays Graham), Mandip Gill (Yasmin), and Tosin Cole (Ryan) and showrunner Chris Chibnall. If the trailer is anything to go by, Season 12 promises Cybermen, Judoon, and crows. A murder of crows.

Also, something's coming for the Doctor ... she can feel it.

The trailer also features appearances from previously announced guest stars Stephen Fry and Larry Henry. Check it out below.

The last season of Doctor Who, which aired in late 2018, concluding with a New Year’s special airing Jan. 1, 2019 (like we said, we've been waiting), was all about the new. It had a new Doctor, new companions, new showrunner, new music composer, and even all-new baddies (discounting the uniquely designed Dalek for the New Year’s episode).

The new season, which just wrapped, marks the debut of new female writers and directors added to the staff.

"Along with our returning faces, we’re excited to welcome new members to the Doctor Who family," Chibnall said in a statement announcing the new hires. “The Doctor Who team is crammed with British television’s brightest writers and directors: we’ve adored working with them, and can’t wait to show you the explosive stuff they’ve created!"

Well, we can't wait to see what you've made, Chibnall & Co. Allons-y!

Doctor Who is set to premiere in early 2020.
