Erstwhile Game of Thrones director Neil Marshall has shared a behind-the-scenes pic from an upcoming fourth-season episode that hints at a very pivotal book scene.
[MILD BOOK SPOILERS AHEAD]
While filming on season four is coming to a close, reports are that there are still a couple of scenes left to be filmed, namely on the very important and game-changing episode nine titled “Castle Black.”
This pic comes courtesy of Nick de Semlyen of Empire Magazine, who tweeted the picture:
Neil Marshall just posted this photo of the stunt team for his Game Of Thrones S4 episode, Castle Black. Cannot wait. pic.twitter.com/AI3b95BVTQ— Nick de Semlyen (@NickdeSemlyen) November 1, 2013
It shows the stunt team participating in what will be a great and harrowing battle on The Wall, so it comes as no surprise that the powers-that-be have brought Marshall back for this. His "Blackwater" episode (it recently won a 2013 Hugo Award) was absolutely fantastic and the guy’s great at working magic on battle scenes (also see Centurion).
Yep! that has us really excited about that particular episode!
Those who have read George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels will know just what scene we’re referring to, but we won’t spoil it for the rest of the lay people amongst us.
What do you think of the pic? Are you guys excited about that particular scene and "Castle Black"?
