Well, it was about darn time since the last time Electronic Arts hit us with a Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer was during last year's E3. But now, they have unleashed a brand-new -- visually stunning, I might add -- trailer for BioWare’s next entry into their Mass Effect video game franchise.
The game, which'll use the Frostbite engine that powered Star Wars: Battlefront, Battlefield 1 and the new Mirror's Edge, just to name a few, is said to allow more freedom for the players than BioWare’s previous video games.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will boast a new origin story of sorts where you’ll leave the galaxy in order to help find a new home for humanity and, from the looks of things, it’ll also see the return of the Krogan and Asari alien species.
Have a look at the new trailer below (which also doubles as a featurette of sorts) and prepare to be blown away as you gaze upon new glorious alien vistas and creatures.
Here’s a short synopsis:
A whole new galaxy awaits for you to explore. Mass Effect: Andromeda pushes the boundaries of known space into the next generation, delivering distant star systems with remote and hostile planets ripe for discovery.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in early 2017. Will this video game be a must-own for you?
