Paramount has released a new full-length trailer for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation featuring some jaw-dropping action and a lot of new footage.

The fifth entry in the Mission: Impossible movie franchise sees the return of Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Jeremy Renner as William Brandt, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell. New cast members include Rebecca Ferguson (The White Queen) as British Agent Ilsa Faust and Alec Baldwin as the head of the CIA.

In Rogue Nation, the IMF team is being targeted by the powerful and mysterious Syndicate. To make matters worse, they even have the CIA gunning for them. The new trailer is pretty exciting, with a breathtaking sequence that shows a fearless Ethan Hunt diving into 70,000 gallons of pressurized water with no oxygen, thanks. At 52, Cruise still brings it. Check it out:

With the IMF now disbanded and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, a new threat -- called the Syndicate -- soon emerges. The Syndicate is a network of highly skilled operatives who are dedicated to establishing a new world order via an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Faced with what may be the most impossible mission yet, Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), a disavowed British agent who may or may not be a member of this deadly rogue nation.

Directed by Jack Reacher helmer Christopher McQuarrie, Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is set to open in movie theaters on July 31.
