On the fence about that new version of Rosemary's Baby? The first trailer has arrived to help you decide how you feel.
Genre queen Zoe Saldana (Star Trek, Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy) will star as Rosemary Woodhouse in this update of the classic Ira Levin novel, which was made by director Roman Polanski into a 1968 film that is still considered a horror masterpiece.
Starring alongside her in the four-part NBC mini-series will be Patrick J. Adams (Suits) as her husband Guy Woodhouse and Jason Isaacs (the Harry Potter films) as Roman Castevet, head of the coven that chooses an unknowing Rosemary to bear the son of Satan.
Although the mini-series transplants the setting from Manhattan's Upper West Side to Paris, NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke recently said that the Agnieszka Holland-directed adaptation is "faithful to the spirit" of the book.
Polanski's film is one of those near-perfect page-to-screen transfers, so it will be interesting to see what this new version brings to the table. The first part premieres on Sunday, May 11. Take a look at the trailer and let us know what you think.
