Well, the intriguing Syfy announcements just keep on coming! The newest addition? An interplanetary adventure series titled Killjoys.

Per Deadline, Syfy is adding Killjoys -- a 10-episode adventure drama series set to premiere in 2015 -- to its growing roster of brand-new, scripted, original sci-fi series. Initially ordered by Syfy’s Canadian counterpart Space, the new series is the love child of Orphan Black producers and Lost Girl creator Michelle Lovretta.

Here’s what Deadline is saying about Killjoys:

It follows a fun-loving, hard living trio of interplanetary bounty hunters sworn to remain impartial as they chase deadly warrants throughout the Quad, a distant system on the brink of a bloody, multiplanetary class war.

Syfy president Dave Howe said: “With its explosive action, smartly-drawn characters, and fun and provocative story-lines, Killjoys has all the ingredients to make it the perfect complement to our expanding slate of quality science fiction drama series.”

Killjoys now joins the ranks of Dominion, Ascension, The Expanse and 12 Monkeys, as well as the just-barely-announced Ronin and Letter 44, on Syfy. Set to return are Defiance, Helix and Haven.

How do you like the premise of Killjoys? Are you guys excited about Syfy's broad range of upcoming new sci-fi series?
