Filming on the Ouarzazate, Morocco, set for the third season of HBO's hit fantasy series Game of Thrones is going full steam ahead and we've got our very first look at Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) paramour, Daario Naharis, played by Ed Skrein in his full regalia as well as Nathalie Emmanuel as Missandei.

The pictures come courtesy of Swedish kickboxer Rickard Nordstrand's twitter account who plays one of the Unsullied. Not only do we have Daario and Missandei but we also have Emilia Clarke as Daenerys and Iain Glenn as Ser Jorah Mormont.

Going back to Daario, we're both surprised and not really surprised either that they've done completely away with the flamboyant Tyroshi style, i.e. the blue hair and the three pronged beard the character sports in the books.

Do we like the new look? It's alright but it sure doesn't make the character stand out as much at first glance. Let's hope Skrein's performance will make him a great, roguish Daario.

Have a look at the new pics, and let us know how you like the look the Game of Thrones powers-that-be have gone with for Daario Naharis. Are you disappointed not to see him with the colorful style he sports in the A Song of Ice and Fire books? Do you actually like it better this way? More . . . "realistic"?
