The Star Wars world got turned a little upside-down with the release of Solo, with the ruckus even spreading to the video games. Star Wars: Battlefront II is continuing to roll out its Han Solo Season, which takes over after a similar patch of content called "Night On Endor." There’s already been new modes and throwbacks to special Han-centric costumes and characters since the season began in May, but now the game is releasing updates specifically designed around the prequel film.
The new trailer showcases the Coaxium Mines on the planet Kessel, which is an important setting in Solo, as well as a new playable map. It also features those fighting for control of the mines, who all have familiar faces if you’ve been paying attention to the latest Star Wars news.
Take a look:
That’s right, Alden Ehrenreich appears as Han Solo, Donald Glover spins his gun as Lando Calrissian, and Joonas Suotamo makes Chewbacca young again. Well, as young as the Wookiee can look. They’re available to buy through credits or crystals -- the two modes of purchasing unlockables in the game. Getting Lando’s Millennium Falcon, featuring Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s L3-37 as your co-pilot, will cost you credits, however.
The new gameplay mode, "Extraction," also hints at details from the movie. Two teams will either attempt to heist a payload from the mines, or stand in that team’s path.
Smuggling never looked so good, right?
