Following the batch of new pics unveiled last week, Spike TV has released a brand-new trailer for their upcoming Stephen King series The Mist.

Hailing from Danish creator and showrunner Christian Torpe (Rita), The Mist stars Darren Pettie, Frances Conroy, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Dan Butler, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Morgan Spector, Okezie Morro and Alyssa Sutherland (if you think the actress looks familiar, it's probably because you saw her as Queen Aslaug on Vikings).

Talking about Sutherland, Spike also released a video featurette about her character, Eve Copeland, and I've included it below, along with the latest trailer, which reveals some eerie new footage, including a freaky look at what's in the mist.

The 10-episode series centers on "a small town family that is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout, an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world and, in some cases, each other. Family, friends, and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down."

The Mist rolls in on June 22 at 10 p.m. on Spike. Will that be a must-see for you?
