New episodes of Fringe are in our grasp! The season premiere is only a week away, and Fox has released another promo. It's filled with plenty of footage of Olivia, Agent Lee and some eerie Peter Bishop for good measure.

The latest promo is a continuation of the elusive "Where is Peter Bishop?" series. Peter is still M.I.A., but in his place we have the return of Agent Lincoln Lee ... though not the one from the alternate universe. This is the standoffish, glasses-wearing version who's completely terrified by Olivia and Walter's work.

The TV spot is filled with flashes of Peter, the Observers and reworked scenes, including one that shows Walter emerging from a deprivation tank instead of Olivia. But the biggest sign of change is Friday's episode being promoted as a "series/season premiere." This plays into what producers Jeff Pinkner and Joel H. Wyman said when they described season four as a new pilot.

The new Fringe is turning out to be a real head-scratcher, and it hasn't even started yet!

Fringe premieres Sept. 23.
