New True Blood promo trailer teases BIG changes for season 4

HBO is going full steam ahead with its—as always—awesome campaign for the upcoming season four of True Blood, and there's a new promo trailer that teases BIG changes for one of the show's main characters, Jason Stackhouse.

This promo shows Sookie Stackhouse's (Anna Paquin) good-hearted but ultimately not-too-bright road worker brother Jason tied up to a bed with the lovely but deeply troublesome Crystal Norris (Lyndsay Pulsipher) hovering over him.

Things get ominous when Crystal tells a scared Jason, whose bloodied chest is covered in deep scratches, that he'll soon be reborn.

Yes. Jason will become one of those big werepanthers that we saw at the end of season three. Talk about BIG changes for him. Ya can't get any bigger than that.

We've also included two other promo trailers.

One we've already shown you before—the Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) one—and a new one with bar owner and shapeshifter Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell), who will—once again (show creator Alan Ball sure doesn't give up on Sam's love life, does he?)—get a new love interest. (Let's truly hope for the poor guy that this time will be the RIGHT one.)

True Blood season four will return on June 12, 2011, on HBO.

So what do you think?
