News briefs: Wheaton back on Bang, EO returns

Former Star Trek: The Next Generation star Wil Wheaton tweeted that he'll return as Evil Wil Wheaton in an upcoming episode of CBS' geekalicious Big Bang Theory.

Disney announced that its Michael Jackson 3-D interactive sci-fi movie Captain EO will return to Disneyland on Tuesday in a new 70 mm print.

The Los Angeles Times' 24 Frames blog reports that the vintage 1980s video game Missile Command is being developed as a feature film.

The BBC reported that English actor and film director Lionel Jeffries—who appeared in such classic fantasy and sci-fi films as The Quatermass Xperiment, First Men in the Moon and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang—has died at the age of 83; his long career spanned theater, film and television.

Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones drops on DVD, two-disc Blu-ray and VOD on April 20 from Paramount Home Entertainment.
