News briefs: World to see Lost finale; new Eclipse posters

Sunday's two-and-a-half-hour series finale of ABC's Lost will be made available to international platforms simultaneously with the U.S. west coast telecast (starting at 9 p.m. PT) on Sky1 in the U.K., Fox Italia and Telecom Italia in Italy, Cuatro Spain, Fox Spain and Portugal, Digiturk Turkey, HOT Israel; CTV Canada will broadcast the finale at the same time as the U.S. east coast.

Seven Twilight actors—including Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed—have closed deals to return for the fourth movie, Breaking Dawn; Summit Entertainment announced Wednesday that it has also signed Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Elizabeth Reaser and Billy Burke to reprise their roles in the fourth installment, which opens Nov. 18, 2011, Variety reported.

Speaking of Twilight, Summit has released three new character posters for Eclipse, the third film, which opens June 30; view them below and click on the images for larger versions.

Frank Cottrell Boyce will adapt his sci-fi children's book Cosmic for the big screen, Variety reported; the story follows a boy who, after going through an early growth spurt, is mistaken for an adult and poses as his best friend's father in order to win a seat on an experimental spaceship ride.

Stargate Universe season 1.5 debuts on Blu-ray disc and DVD on July 27 from MGM Home Entertainment, featuring the final 10 episodes of season one and special features.
