News briefs: 30 Days sequel; Seeker returns

Producer Rob Tapert tells ShockTillYouDrop that Dark Days, the sequel to the vampire movie 30 Days of Night, is up in Vancouver, Canada, getting ready to shoot, with principal photography slated to begin in the next couple of weeks.

Legend of the Seeker's second season will commence on the weekend of Nov. 7, with new cast member Tabrett Bethell reprising her role as the fierce Mord'Sith Cara who threatens Richard (Craig Horner) and Kahlan's (Bridget Regan) close relationship, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer alumna Charisma Carpenter guest-starring as a wicked Mord'Sith named Triana, who challenges Cara's authority.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra arrives on DVD and Blu-ray on Nov. 3.
