Shiloh Fernandez will star in Girl With the Red Riding Hood, a gothic horror movie that re-imagines the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale, according to The Hollywood Reporter: Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke is directing the movie, in which Amanda Seyfried will play a woman in a medieval village being terrorized by a werewolf.

Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions Ltd., producer of the long-running James Bond franchise, said Monday that development work on the next 007 film had been suspended because of financial difficulties at the film's distributor, MGM, according to the Reporter.

Saturday's season premiere of Doctor Who, featuring Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor, set viewership records for BBC America, with an average 1.2 million total viewers, making it the network's most-watched telecast ever.

The second season of Ashes to Ashes, the sequel to U.K. time-travel hit Life on Mars, premieres on BBC America on May 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Universal Pictures has hired Nick Stoller to rewrite Stretch Armstrong and Rob Letterman to direct it, Deadline Hollywood reported; Taylor Lautner stars, but there's no start date yet.
