News briefs: Devil gears up; Twilight fans sued

Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Duhamel are in early preproduction on Sympathy for the Devil, a supernatural movie in which Duhamel and Jackson play humans caught in a battle between heaven and hell.

Avatar and Star Trek each got three nominations for the Motion Picture Sound Editors' 2010 Golden Reel Awards, which will be handed out Feb. 20 in Los Angeles.

Twilight studio Summit Entertainment has won a preliminary injunction against a fanzine that used publicity photos from the film without permission, according to The Hollywood Reporter; Summit alleges that the Twilight fanzine improperly used the photos for pullout posters and allegedly modified some of the photographs in question.

Gentlemen Broncos drops on Blu-ray and DVD on March 2.
