News briefs: 'Doc Brown' on Chuck, Mr & Mrs Smith rebooted

Back the Future's Doc Brown, Christopher Lloyd, will play a therapist in an upcoming episode of NBC's spy comedy Chuck; the 16th episode is slated to air in April or May, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Speaking of Chuck, NBC announced that the two-hour season finale will air on May 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

New York Magazine's Vulture* is reporting that the 2005 action comedy Mr. & Mrs. Smith will get the reboot treatment by Regency, one of the development arms of Fox, with Akiva Goldsman attached to produce.

The prop painting used in an episode of Fox's defunct Dollhouse sold for $6,900 in a charity auction, former writer Maurissa Tancharoen tweeted.

Sorority Row drops on DVD and Blu-ray on Feb. 23, featuring Sorority Secrets: Stories from the Set, Killer 101, Kill Switch, Deleted Scenes, Outtakes.

ABC will air a special edition of Spider-Man 2—called Spider-Man 2.1—on Friday at 8 ET/PT, including additional footage previously available only on the DVD and broadcast in HDTV format with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish audio via SAP.
