Tuesday's sixth-season premiere of ABC's Lost drew strong ratings that were better than last year's premiere: The two-hour debut was seen by 12.1 million viewers and generated a 5.6 preliminary rating among adults 18-49, The Hollywood Reporter's Live Feed reported.

The upcoming sci-fi fantasy movie John Carter of Mars now has an official Facebook page.

Speaking of Lost, ABC Entertainment Group and CafePress are inviting fans to design and sell authorized show merchandise on CafePress and enter their new products into a national design contest; to enter the contest, fans will be asked to "tag" their designs with a special code based on the design category they choose and to post the new product in their CafePress shop and Marketplace.

The animated sci-fi comedy Planet 51 lands on DVD and Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack on March 9.
