News briefs: Obamas visit Potter, Hermione models Burberry

The Obama girls visited the set of the new Harry Potter movie at North London's Pinewood Studios as part of their tour of the British capital this week, the BBC reported.

Speaking of Harry Potter, star Emma Watson was unveiled today as the face of fashion house Burberry (above), the Daily Mirror reported; the actress, 19, will model the British label's signature trench coats and other accessories (click the link to see more).

eFX Inc. announced a new line of limited-edition collectibles inspired by Disney classic films and the Muppets, beginning with a "Heart Box" inspired by the designs of the wicked queen in Snow White; eFX plans to preview several pieces from its new Disney collection during Comic-Con International in San Diego in July and at Disney's D23 Expo in September. Smallville: The Complete Eighth Season drops on DVD and Blu-ray on Aug. 25, with all 22 episodes plus unaired scenes, cast and crew commentaries and several never-before-seen featurettes, including "Smallville's Doomsday: The Making of a Monster."

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles—The Complete Second Season drops on DVD and Blu-ray on Sept. 22, a six-disc collector's set with all 22 one-hour episodes and four hours of extras, including a never-before-seen eight-part featurette with the cast and crew, a gag reel, commentaries and deleted scenes, as well as a Blu-ray version with an exclusive multipart featurette that allows fans to explore the dynamic final stunt sequence from season two.
