Lionsgate will make Dibbuk Box, a supernatural thriller a la The Shining, which will be written by Juliet Snowden and Stiles White and produced by Ghost House Pictures partners Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, Deadline Hollywood reported; the film, based on a true story, comes from a Los Angeles Times story about a family with a haunted box and an evil curse.

Australian actress Abbie Cornish (the upcoming Sucker Punch) will star in Neil Burger's sci-fi movie Dark Fields alongside Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper, The Playlist reported; the movie deals with a writer (Cooper) who uses a brain-enhancing drug whose side effects include sanity-splitting headaches, spontaneous blackouts and violent outbursts.

The Motion Picture Association of America has given the upcoming Clash of the Titans remake a PG-13 rating for fantasy action violence, some frightening images and brief sensuality; the movie opens April 2.
