Ryan Reynolds told MTV.com that Marvel wants to get its proposed Deadpool right: "I get to be the authentication police, in a weird way. To their credit—the studio's credit—they want to make an authentic Deadpool movie; they want to make it as close to the source material as possible. ... He's going to be the Merc with the Mouth, [we're going to give] all those answers that everyone wants. He's going to have the scarred-up face, he's going to be in the suit—and, it's going to be incredible."

reports that EON is bringing on Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon, The Queen) to write the screenplay for the upcoming as-yet-untitled 23rd James Bond movie, along with Neal Purvis and Robert Wade (who wrote Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace).

Intrepid Pictures has set Bruce A. Evans to direct Diver, a paranormal thriller by Diane Ademu-John, about a disturbed ex-cop who's recruited into the Diver program, a secret project based in New Orleans where the cop and others enter the minds of the recently dead to experience their final thoughts and perceptions in order to solve the most heinous crimes, Variety reported.
