Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) has joined the cast of Andrew Stanton's John Carter of Mars, which begins filming next week, The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog reported; Cranston plays a Civil War colonel who comes into conflict with Carter.

Iron Man 2 will open in IMAX theaters as well as conventional theaters on May 7; the film will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality for IMAX.

Supernatural's Castiel, Misha Collins, is tweeting to support Haiti relief: "A heads up for #Supernatural fans who want to help Haiti RT @mishacollins: Minion Page @ UNICEF-It's time to PONY UP."

Haitian native and Heroes cast member Jimmy Jean-Louis was searching for his elderly parents in Haiti on Wednesday afternoon after a powerful earthquake struck the nation, CNN reported; Jean-Louis learned that a house he had grown up in collapsed, killing several of his relatives.
