News briefs: Transformers L.A. premiere, BioShock star?

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will have its American premiere on June 22 at the 2009 Los Angeles Film Festival before it hits theaters on June 24.

Prison Break star Wentworth Miller tweeted with a hint that he may be in a sci-fi movie: "Prison Break may be ending, but I've got things in the works. Hint ... one word: BioShock," a reference to the video game under development as a movie.

Bloody-Disgusting reports that The Crazies director Breck Eisner has officially dropped out of Universal Pictures' proposed remake of The Creature From the Black Lagoon.
