News briefs: Transformers 3 shoots in Chicago; Cap sets up in London

Production Weekly tweeted that Michael Bay's third Transformers movie begins seven weeks of shooting in Chicago in early July .

Production Weekly also tweeted that Marvel's Captain America has opened a production office at Shepperton Studios in London, with principle photography scheduled to begin June 28.

Universal Pictures has pushed back the release date of Matt Damon's sci-fi thriller The Adjustment Bureau to Sept. 17 from its original July 30 and has also slated 2011 release dates for the M. Night Shyamalan written and produced horror movie The Night Chronicles: Devil, directed by John Erick and Drew Dowdle (Feb. 11, 2011) and the James Cameron-produced 3-D thriller Sanctum, about a near-death diving experience (March 4, 2011).

Alexandra Milchan's EMJAG Productions and Platinum Studios, Inc., have partnered to bring Platinum Studios' comic book series Blood Nation to the big screen; set in the near future, the comic tells the story of a country overrun by vampires and walled off from the rest of the world.
