A new trailer has arrived for Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, and there's a lot of unpack from it. For instance, it lays out the entire premise of the film based on the cartoon network show.

With movies being made about the major league superheroes, the Titans want one too, but they're not considered big enough to warrant their own film franchise, but that doesn't stop them. They figure that if they find themselves an archnemesis and defeat said archnemesis, they'll be taken seriously by both the hero community and Hollywood.

Watch the incredibly zany trailer below:

There's plenty of fourth-wall-breaking humor throughout the trailer, especially when the Titans settle on Slade or Deathstroke for their main antagonist. Robin stops him from stealing a crystal and mistakes the villain for Deadpool, an ironic error as Deadpool was actually based on Deathstroke, whose name is Slade Wilson. It's only fair that DC gets to make a reference to Marvel, since Ryan Reynolds did it in the final Deadpool 2 trailer, asking if Cable (Josh Brolin) was from the DC Universe.

Anyway, Slade is voiced by Will Arnett, his second foray into an animated DC universe after voicing LEGO Batman in two movies already. The character was a major bad guy on the original Teen Titans series, where he was portrayed by Ron Perlman, so it's cool they're bringing him back, even in a more humorous capacity.

You can also finally hear Nicolas Cage as the Superman he never was as he tells the team that they've never really done anything worthwhile.

Here's the new poster too:
