In the upcoming movie Air, Norman Reedus is one of the few survivors in a post-apocalyptic world -- and that’s about the only comparison to Reedus’ other star turn, The Walking Dead. Here, the enemy he and companion are fighting isn’t a horde of the undead but the air -- or a lack thereof.
Until they start fighting each other.
The trailer, below, gives us what we need to put Air on our must-watch movie list: The world has been devastated by a nuclear holocaust, and the only survivors are the scientists who will rebuild it when the nuclear fallout clears ... that, and their caretakers, Reedus and Djimon Hounsou.
The atmosphere outside their bunker is radioactive; the atmosphere inside is claustrophobic and brimming with tension. Here’s hoping that director Christian Cantamessa -- who wrote and directed the critically acclaimed videogame Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor -- maintains that threat level throughout the film.
