Objects in Space 1/10/19: Let me be what I'm meant to be

Every now and then, a hero comes along who — okay, this guy isn't a hero. He definitely doesn't consider himself one, at least, and he doesn't get caught up in all his heroics willingly. But somehow he's a character you can't help but enjoy watching in spite of all his imperfections — or maybe, possibly, just because of them.

That's me with Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle on Netflix's The Punisher. Having just now finished the first season, I am thoroughly looking forward to the premiere of Season 2 next week, and this trailer is giving me a lot of unexpected emotions. Who knew I'd have feelings about Frank Castle as the grudgingly protective guardian to an unruly teenage girl? Not me, nope.

- I just discovered this article, and I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY (oh, read beyond the header before you disagree flat out): Netflix’s The Punisher is a g*ddamn romantic lead. (Bad Necklace)
- Fox’s The Passage is a terrific show about terrible ideas. (The Verge)
