You know that feeling when you’ve been putting off acknowledging that a major holiday is coming up and then you realize it’s right around the corner? I’m somehow not ready for the holidays but also entirely prepared to stuff my face with food.
It’s a rainy and miserable day here, but these links have been entertaining:

- On finding peace, purpose and voice in the pages of comics. (NPR)
- A hundred years ago, one place in Hollywood was safe for women: the silent film studio. (LA Times)
- Netflix’s Alias Grace confronts a timely question. (The Daily Beast)
