Objects in Space 3/18/18: I'll take two

It's Sunday, and it's also officially post-Tomb Raider viewing. All in all, I didn't hate it! Alicia Vikander was super strong (even her abs had abs), and it was really great to see Walton Goggins and Daniel Wu among the supporting cast. My one complaint (and yes, I have played the 2013 reboot game on which this movie is loosely based) is that I would've liked to see Lara kicking a little MORE butt. At least more than what the trailer promised. But, all in all, a decently fun weekend film!

Most of today's links happen to be about Tomb Raider, actually:

- David Harbour’s trip to Antarctica taught him an important lesson about penguins. (Vanity Fair)
- Asia megastar Daniel Wu talks about his journey back home to Hollywood. (As a huge fan of Into the Badlands, I loved seeing Wu pop up in Tomb Raider!) (L.A. Times)
- Meet the mysterious woman writing Hollywood’s blockbusters. (Medium)
- One of Tomb Raider’s best scenes isn’t from the games at all. (THR)
